KG Auto is a very honest car mechanic. My car--a four-wheel drive SUV--started to make very loud noises while driving on Highway 495. I had to pull over and called Geico to get my car towed. As I was from out of state and didn't know the area at all, I picked the closest car mechanic, which happened to be KG Auto. At first I was mentally prepared to hear a ridiculously high estimate, as most car mechanics do. After the owner did a pretty thorough check of my car, he concluded the drive shaft was broken, which was the cause of the loud noises. As he couldn't get the parts in before I had to leave town, he offered to remove the broken drive shaft. Without the drive shaft, the car was still drivable. He recommended after I went back to my home state, I should get a new shaft. The entire work took less than 2 hours and he charged me a very reasonable amount. Highly recommend!

I'm always nervous when getting auto repair done because I know so little about cars. But these guys at K&G really changed that for me. They explained to me what work they were going to do, how they were going to do it, and exactly what it would cost me. And here's the amazing part, they did EXACTLY what they said and charged me EXACTLY what they quoted. My girlfriend took her car there to get fixed after my recommendation, and they treated her with the same friendly respect as they treated me. Recently I took our church van there, certain that it had seen it's last day, and they got it up and running at little cost and we used it for two youth retreats racking up over 1200 miles with no problems. I rarely write reviews for companies online, but they really knocked my socks off.

I took my car in after having problems with getting my car to start. Ivan was more than happy to show me around my car for the troubleshooting portion of the repair process; he covered a slew of things and did simple tests in order to pin-point the problem, all the while explaining every noise & function. The guy was also really flexible with my out-of-the-ordinary paying method (paying 90% of it w/ cash & credit card and the other 10% w/ a post-dated check). All-in-all this place was friendly and very quick. I highly suggest you see them first if you have car troubles.

Kirill (aka KG) is very knowledgeable with years of hands-on experience behind him. I had reached out to KG auto repairs for a tire change (wanted to install snow tires) KG noticed that I was due for oil change (wind shield sticker)... For some reason I totally missed the due date !! KG called me to remind me and confirm if he could do oil change while replacing the snow tires. He also fixed the rear brakes on the car at no additional charge. Plus all this was done in quick time unlike some repair chain shops where you've to wait 45 mins for an oil change. Also, this auto repair shop is honest and professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Several weeks ago my check engine light came on while I was on my way to work. This was awful as I had to drive down to the Cape later that day for a friend's wedding. Kirill was able to quickly asses what was wrong, do an oil change, and turn off the light and I was still able to get down in time. It turned out it was my catalytic converter. He recommended I get something called Cataclean from down the street for only $20. I've driven about 1,500 miles since and my light hasn't turned back on. Thanks for the quick and inexpensive solution!!
